Farewell, Giorgio Armani! It is profoundly sad to wake up to the news that Giorgio Armani passed away yesterday. He has been a hero of mine since my teenage years, when I dreamed of becoming a designer. I used to pin pictures of his advertisements on my walls for inspiration. His clothes were beautifully tailored and elegant, characterised by simple designs without loud frills or extravagant embellishments – just exquisite tailoring that exuded sophistication and quality. He truly embodied Italian style and was renowned and adored around the world. His unique vision extended beyond fashion design to stunning home décor, furniture, and even hotels and resorts.
Over the past four years, I have had the opportunity to write several blog articles about Giorgio Armani. Feel free to take a look!
