Vespa World Days - Rome

Vespa World Days Rome 2026, celebrating the brand’s 80th anniversary, will be held from June 25 to June 28, 2026, at the Foro Italico (adjacent to the Olympic Stadium, along the River Tiber). Thousands of Vespeisti from around the world are expected to gather in the Eternal City—an enduring emblem of beauty, elegance, and la dolce vita, core values that have defined Vespa's legacy. Over four days, Rome will host a remarkable celebration—aimed not only at Vespa fans but also at anyone who has ever felt the thrill of riding two wheels, even if only for a summer. This event serves as a collective homage to an icon that has united generations, styles, and cultures around the world since 1946. This four-day event includes a free Vespa Village, exhibits, and the grand Parade. Entry to the Vespa Village is free and open to the public

Registered Vespisti (members of official National Vespa Clubs) receive access to dedicated rides, events, and the Grand Parade. Key highlights include the Opening Ceremony of the Vespa Village on Thursday, June 25, at 13:00, featuring historical exhibits and a ribbon-cutting ceremony; presentation of the commemorative coin marking the 80th anniversary, and launch ceremony for the special postal cancellation by Poste Italiane. On Friday 26 June, there will be activities and events organised by Vespa and its partners; the European Vespa Rally Championship and the World Gymkhana Championship with Vespa Clubs, including performances by artists and entertainment on the Radio Deejay stage, live performances and a closing DJ set by Wad.The Grand Parade is on Saturday, June 27 (morning), where thousands of Vespas will ride through the historic streets of the Eternal City. And on Sunday, the Concorso di Eleganza: Sunday, June 28, featuring a parade of the rarest and most valuable vintage Vespa models, including entertainment by Radio Deejay until the final awards ceremony and the official closing of the Village.

To mark its 80th anniversary, Vespa has revealed a large-scale urban mural designed by Italian artist Federico Epis, in partnership with Outdoora. The artwork offers a modern take on the enduring connection between Vespa and Rome, highlighting the values that have made Vespa an icon over the years: freedom, mobility, exploration, and the pleasure of shared experiences.

Let's not forget food. Not far from the Foro Italico, are several Osterias offering authentic Roman cuisine like Lo' Steria (Via dei Prati della Farnesina 61) in Ponte Milvio. Led by Chef Luca Ogliotti, it offers traditional dishes like amatriciana, coda alla vaccinara, cacio e pepe, and tripe. Another option is Osteria Mamma Mia (Via Masolino da Panicale 24a) near Lungotevere Flaminio, featuring a rustic atmosphere and dishes including amatriciana, gricia, meatballs, and artichoke carpaccio with Parmigiano Reggiano. Or if you’re craving pizza? There’s Avenida Calò (Viale Pinturicchio 38), the wine-focused pizzeria opened in late 2024 by Francesco Calò. The award-winning pizzaiolo naturally showcases his beloved Neapolitan creations, blending tradition, craftsmanship, and avant-garde flair. You also have the option of gourmet street food near the Foro Italico at Trapizzino Ponte Milvio (Piazzale di Ponte Milvio 13), near the Foro Italico, where Stefano Callegari serves signature pizza triangles filled with ingredients like pollo alla cacciatora or salt cod, along with supplì and meatballs in tomato sauce, capturing Rome's authentic taste.
