Fausto Puglisi brought a much-needed sense of optimism to dark times with his vibrant use of colour blocking, abundant prints, and glimmers of gold. The Cavalli woman is undoubtedly someone who aims to stand out rather than blend in, and Puglisi’s Resort 2026 collection pleasantly surprised with its bold colours, diverse prints, and a touch of golden sequins. This offered a refreshing burst of optimism and confidence amidst challenging times. As always, the Sicilian designer's globe-trotting lifestyle influenced his work. Recently, he travelled from Miami to Mexico City, drawing inspiration from the vibrant Art Deco scene in Miami and the lively La Condesa district in Mexico City.
The Cavalli Resort collection also included form-fitting jersey mini dresses worn with matching leggings, sleek jacquard suits, and a casual look that combined a relaxed double-faced Caban jacket with a hot pink textured shirt and canary yellow pants. Graphic silk shirts that doubled as minidresses introduced the brand’s signature animal patterns, which were also apparent on poplin frocks with ruffled hems, sequined slip dresses, and stylish stone-washed denim pants with a distressed effect. The same bold approach was applied to laminated suede pants.
