The new Palazzo Cordusio hotel in Milan pays homage to the city's enduring style. It's Gran Meliá's first property in Milan, combining Italian elegance with warm Spanish service. The hotel is located in the heart of Milan near the Duomo square and the Quadrilatero della Moda, offering access to the city's cultural heritage and contributing to the revival of Piazza Cordusio. With Italian and international cuisine and stunning 360º city views, Palazzo Cordusio is set within a neo-classical landmark, just moments away from Milan's famous landmarks such as the Duomo Square, Quadrilatero della Moda, and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Gran Meliá's Milan debut has arrived with the opening of Palazzo Cordusio.
The Palazzo Cordusio Gran Meliá Hotel in Milan combines historical grandeur with contemporary design. Housed in a building designed by Italian architect Luca Beltrami in the 18th century, it offers stunning views of the historical Piazza Cordusio and has been a significant part of the area's restoration from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Today, the building acts as a central hub connecting the city's most popular cultural attractions. The interior has been transformed into 84 luxury guest rooms and suites by the Spanish design studio ASAH in partnership with Meliá Hotels International. They have restored historical features, including a grand dome and a mosaic from the original facade.
All rooms have large windows, some with private balconies. Each room and suite features luxurious Rubelli textiles, beautiful Venetian floors, and furnishings from Italy's top design brands, adding to the hotel's cultural ambiance. An intimate wellness sanctuary is available for guests, featuring an indoor pool, a sauna, a Turkish bath, and a relaxation lounge. Next to the sanctuary is a modern gym equipped with Technogym equipment and offering a panoramic view of Palazzo della Ragione and Piazza Mercanti. The ground floor is reserved for dining spaces, ensuring the privacy of overnight guests.
The hotel offers four exceptional dining concepts. Gioia Pasticceria offers pastries, Giardino Cordusio is a cocktail bar, Isola Restaurant draws inspiration from southern Italy, and Sachi offers Japanese cuisine.
