V73 - The Venetian Brand conquering the World!

V°73 is an Italian brand that specializes in women’s bags, accessories, and footwear. It was founded in 2011 by fashion designer Elisabetta Armellin and has been part of the Miriade Group since 2019. The brand has seen significant growth and is now available in approximately 400 stores across Europe, the Middle East, Russia, and the Far East, as well as in a flagship boutique in Venice. Elisabetta Armellin, a designer and painter born in 1973, drew inspiration from Venice, where the brand's name originated. The "V" represents Venice, while "73" signifies her birth year. After studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and obtaining a master’s degree in shoe design in Milan, Elisabetta Armellin spent twelve years working in the style departments of prominent Italian fashion brands before founding V°73. The brand recently showcased its new spring/summer collection at the JW Marriott in Venice. V°73 emphasizes the fusion of traditional craftsmanship with advanced production technologies and is committed to responsible fashion by researching and developing new materials that are environmentally friendly. Since December 2014, V°73 has had its first flagship store in Venice, located in Frezzaria Street, near Piazza San Marco, amidst historical buildings and luxury boutiques.

V°73 owes its global success to Must, the first bag launched on the market, available in canvas with a trompe-l’œil print. Today, the collections include different models suitable for both casual and formal occasions: handbags, shoulder bags, cross body bags, shopping bags, backpacks, and mini bags. The design is inspired by the architectural styles of Venice, incorporating colors, textures, lines, and details from the iconic buildings on the Grand Canal, especially the Ca’ D’Oro, as well as the intricate details of the vibrantly colored houses of the island of Burano. The design also draws from the various shades of the Lagoon and its rich heritage of arts and ancient craftsmanship. The brand places a strong emphasis on researching raw materials, including traditional Venetian fabrics like velvet, canvas, suede, and nappa, as well as contemporary options like plastic. Additionally, there is a focus on sustainable materials such as faux leather and recycled ones.

The Capsule Collection “I Am A Responsible Bag” was presented for the first time during Spring Summer 2021 and revived in the current 2022 season. The collection inspired by Venice in a modern way, offers bags made from recycled raw materials that have the lowest amount of toxic and polluting substances. A mix of 100% cotton canvas, ecological fabric derived from the reuse of natural waste fibers, 100% recycled polyester and eco-leather details obtained from recycled plastic, are enclosed in the front part which is nothing more than a declaration of responsibility towards the future.
