3 Italian Drinks to toast with at New Year's Eve to welcome 2024!

The last toast of the year must be special, to fully honor the 365 days that have just passed and to start the New Year with the right gesture, choosing Italian quality drinks.

Italicus Cup

Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, the drink created by Giuseppe Gallo, celebrates the all-Italian conviviality of the aperitif, but is also an excellent idea for a midnight toast. Among the cocktails to try at home: Italicus Cup, with grapefruit and grapefruit soda; Italicus Tonic, made with Italicus, tonic and a citrus grapefruit twist; Italicus Spritz, paired with Champagne or Prosecco.

Bitter Angera on the Rocks

The historic Lake Maggiore distillery Rossi d'Angera offers one of the traditional family recipes, Bitter, for the holidays. An infusion of medicinal herbs and roots in a hydroalcoholic solution, perfect for creating classic and original cocktails. For those who prefer a pleasantly bitter taste at the stroke of midnight, full of spicy, fruity and citrus notes, the cheers are therefore made with Bitter on the rocks, or mixed in a cocktail or long drink.

Velier Gin - Portofino from Liguria

For over sixty years Velier has been distributing the best liqueurs and spirits throughout Italy starting from Genoa. For this reason, among the 2023 Christmas gifts there is also the gin from Liguria, the Portofino Dry Gin available in a special 1.5 l magnum pack. Produced in the characteristic village of Portofino - the smallest municipality in the Genoa metropolitan area - by three Ligurians who obtained the business from an old copper, and the gin  is still distilled under vacuum, so as to preserve the delicate aromas of aromatic herbs. And what a gorgeous bottle! For the perfect G&T to greet 2024: Serve Portofino Dry Gin with a premium Mediterranean tonic and garnish with fresh lemon peel and rosemary.
