Join me on a trip to Sardinia to the Conrad Chia Laguna Resort Hotel that "breathes" nature

Sardinia is known for its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters;  the island has become a top destination for jet-setters around the world during the summer months. On the stunning southern coast of Sardinia overlooking Chia Bay, the Conrad Chia Laguna Hotel, a luxury brand by Hilton, is an hour from the historical capital of Cagliari. There you can enjoy leisure time at the award-winning golden sandy beaches and exclusive services in the hotel's private Beach Clubs. You have sea or lagoon views from nearly every room; featuring a refined style with lots of natural colors, the rooms and suits highlight the Mediterranean style. Its decor beautifully designed with that special Sardinian decor touch.

And then, of course, there are the beaches. Guests have two choices: You have the Monte Cogoni beach, which is on the east side, which is calm and serene. And then you have Laguna on the other side, which has more people, and it's a bit more buzzing.

The exclusive beach facilities on offer include a private shuttle service to guests for the Monte Cogoni and Le Dune Beaches. In addition, there are Beach cabanas available upon reservation; a Beach volleyball court;  Changing rooms and Beach activities organised by the Entertainment Team. Or you can take up diving in Dune di Campana which is located only 700 meters from our Resort and admire the Tower of Chia on Monte Cogoni Beach.

Combined with the idea of luxury and wellbeing in mind, Studio Marco Piva redesigned CONRAD Chia Laguna Sardinia into a territory of nature, characterized by a Mediterranean lifestyle that offers guests to enjoy the Sardinian tradition coupled with 5-Star comfort. The resort hotel underwent formal, and aesthetic restyling to encompass Biancone di Orosei marble, a limestone rock quarried and finished on the island. The material stands out for its distinctive colors, created by fossilized shells, coral, and other marine organisms. With tones ranging from white to pink beige, it has been used for different surface finishes throughout the hotel, highlighting the quality of the material and giving the spaces a sense of elegance that makes the stay even more comfortable and welcoming.

The resort has many options for food hospitality. Its main restaurant, La Terrazza, which is the Italian Mediterranean restaurant, and then there's the second restaurant Sa Mesa which serves authentic Sardinian cuisine. Everything will be served in a traditional sharing kind-of platters format. The Bollicine Bar is fantastic, too, and is really popular in the evenings for the aperitif, pre-dinner, after dinner, on the terrace.

Close to the hotel there is the Argiolas Winery. It's a local winery with its own local grape varieties, which you won't find anywhere else. Since the beginning, this Winery bet on innovations, strongly linked to its origins to the Island; by protecting local grape varieties and investing in sustainability.  The company experiments with cutting-edge cultivation techniques, using the advice of international experts and hence the winery has become a benchmark for promotion of culture, wine, food and hospitality. They offer vineyard tours and wine tastings and master classes.
