Florence’s Pitti Uomo is a regular fashion event, renown for the latest fashion trends. On the occasion of this Pitti Uomo, a special event was hosted by British Vogue and Florentine Luxury retailer Luisa Via Roma. Over 50 international brands came together for this blockbuster open-air catwalk show, to celebrate women and men fashion. As sun set over the Duomo over 1,500 guests, including VIPs and stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Tina Kunakey, Liam Payne, Charithra Chandran, Julia Fox, and Tobey Maguire, who gathered at the historic Piazzale Michelangelo to watch a 100-plus looks.
Following the LuisaViaRoma fashion show in Piazzale Michelangelo on the occasion of Pitti Uomo, the Hollywood stars Di Caprio-Tobey Maguire yesterday went to dinner in Versilia. The American celebrity, who in 2016 won the Oscar for best actor for his portrayal of Hugh Glass in Iñárritu's Revenant, actually dined at the Maitò restaurant in Forte dei Marmi. Leonardo DiCaprio - notoriously passionate about Italian art and cuisine - ordered the famous penne alla Maitò, pizza margherita and frenetica (mozzarella, courgette flowers, anchovy sauce). Then grilled scampi and fish in salt, all paired with wine. In recent days, the two friends had visited the Uffizi and Vinci. Even earlier, DiCaprio had toured the Medici Chapels with his family.
