Even for New Year's Eve, it may be a great alternative option for dessert; which will allow you to make a great impression with your guests. And it doesn't even take too long as preparation is fairly quick.

Ingredients:

700 g of panettone cut into slices; 300 ml of light whipped cream (click on the link for the recipe); 75 g of stevia sweetener (or alternatively 150 g of normal or cane sugar);  4 whole eggs; 2 pears; 1 yolk; grated orange peel q.b.; a few drops of vanilla extract; a pinch of salt; icing sugar for garnish (optional)

Preparation:

First, dedicate yourself to preparing the whipped cream, then keep it in the refrigerator until you need it.

Now clean your pears, then remove the peel and cut them into pieces. Now cut the panettone into slices, after abundantly buttering a baking tray, place it on top, alternating with the pear, in a vertical position.

Separately, whisk the eggs with the yolk, then add the stevia sweetener (or sugar), cream, vanilla extract, orange zest and salt to the mixture. Then mix everything properly, so that the ingredients are incorporated well with each other. Once this is done, pour the mixture into the dripping pan with the panettone, then line it with aluminium foil and transfer the pudding to the fridge, where it will rest for the whole night. Finally put it to cook inside the oven at a temperature of 170°C for 40 minutes.

Once the pudding is ready, take it out of the oven, let it cool for 10 minutes and bring it to the table.
