"Panettone Maximo" is back for its fourth edition, the festival that rewards the best artisan panettone from the capital and Lazio, scheduled for Sunday 4 December at the "La Serra" event space of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni. A fabulous Christmas Market with tastings and sale of panettone, show cooking by pastry chefs from the best restaurants in Rome and the competition that will elect "The best panettone in Rome". The winners of the 2 main categories, traditional and chocolate, will be decided by a jury of experts made up of illustrious names in pastry and gastronomic journalism. Four special awards: best packaging, best communication, foreign press award and audience award. There will be excellent wine from the Roma DOC consortium, chocolate in various forms and, for the little ones, the inevitable souvenir photo with Santa Claus!
Considered the flagship product of the great Italian pastry shop, panettone, has become the new frontier of experimentation by Italian pastry chefs, the object of desire of many gourmands, a magnificent obsession of cooks, chefs and bakers. To best celebrate this extraordinary artisan product that embodies all the warmth, richness and goodness of the Christmas holidays, on Sunday 4 December - from 11:30 to 19:30 - at the La Serra event space of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni will be held Panettone Maximo 2022, the fourth edition of the Panettone Festival in Rome and Lazio, organized by RistorAgency with the patronage of the councilorship for major events of the Municipality of Rome, Arsial - Lazio Region and the support of Azienda Agrimontana and Molino Dallagiovanna. Although the Panettone was born in Milan in the 16th century,it has now become the typical dessert of Christmas holidays throughout Italy. The most renowned pastry shops of Rome and the Lazio region will be present at the event, competing with their creations to win the title of "Best Panettone of Rome and Lazio". All the provinces are represented except that of Viterbo (4 out of 5). From Rome there will be: Caffè Delizie di Sicilia, Con.Tro Contemporary Bistrot, Cristalli di Zucchero, Le dolcezze di Giano, Max Pasticceria, Panificio Nazzareno, Pasticceria D'Antoni, Pasticceria delle Rose, Spiga d'oro bakery and Vizio.
