Ferruccio Ferragamo together with his family brought the century-old Borro hamlet back to life in 1993 in line with the history and the traditions of the region. Authenticity, respect for the environment, culture and enhancement of the local expertise are Il Borro’s pillars of their sustainable philosophy. The estate unfolds across more than 2,700 acres encompassing the gardens, 16,000 olive trees for extra-virgin olive oil, local bees for honey, 85 hectares of vineyards (the region’s quintessential Sangiovese grape included) and the newest addition of 250 sheep used for proprietary pecorino and ricotta cheese. There are also 300 chickens that produce an egg a day and wheat that’s grown to create flour for the house-made pasta.

Luxury accommodation options include, your own Villa within the Viesca Estate, located only 30 minutes from Il Borro and from Florence, is specialized in tailor-made stays in villa, offering guests a range of activities and services to make them feel at home. There several unique and special accommodations; the XVI century manor house as well as another 7 beautiful villas, all with private pools. Or at the, Il Borro Relais & Châteaux is a large and elegant building dominating the whole medieval village. Fendi - Villa Laetitia Ponza

Ponza, the island hosts the Residenza Villa Laetitia positioned in a privileged and enchanting spot. In a Bourbon building, a property of the Fendi Venturini’s family,  was completely renovated by Anna Fendi with great respect of its Pontine tradition, by utilising antique Neapolitan tiles and authentic furniture of the house. Villa Laetitia, the B&B rises at the foot of the Monte Guardia, in the Scotti area, benefiting from a breathtaking view over the entire port of Ponza. The Residenza is filled with intimate tranquility, everything in the house is light, warm and comfortable; never pretentious. All rooms have a view of the sea along with minibar, bathroom with shower, satellite TV, ceiling fan, in room safe and a possibility of car parking in the property and shuttle service. In this unmistakable Mediterranean atmosphere each room is given the name of a spice such as Zafferano, Paprika or Cacao.

Anna Fendi owns the B&B but the family of Silvia Venturini Fendi and daughters Delfina Delettrez and Leonetta Luciano Fendi regularly summer here at the family’s gorgeous estate.
