Luxury, redefined. The new Fendi Casa collection marks the start of a prestigious partnership with Design Holding – the world’s leading high-quality design group.
Orchestrated by the Fendi's artistic director of menswear, Silvia Venturini Fendi, the collection features contributions from leading designers such as Piero Lissoni, Atelier Oï, Dimorestudio, Marcel Wanders Studio, and Cristina Celestino and Chiara Andreatti. ‘It features cutting-edge designs; it’s more eclectic and in line with our collections for men and women, who I would imagine living in these new spaces,’ explains Venturini Fendi. ‘Everything is very organic and aligned with our DNA.’
For the inaugural launch, the collection was photographed at the estate of Catalan sculptor Xavier Corberó, whose concrete arches form a backdrop for the collection’s rich textures. His ‘casa sublim’ evolved into a union of nine interconnected structures and courtyards, spread over 38,750 square feet. The Catalan labyrinth is characterised by elaborate and playful forms, with layered archways. "The Barcelona house by Xavier Corberó interprets the same vision as Fendi’s expressive codes, as well as sharing a great coherence with the architecture of Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the headquarters of the maison," says Fendi Casa CEO, Alberto Da Passano.
