The "Little Holland" a stone's throw from Padua and Verona to admire tulips blooming

Tulips in bloom:  located at the foot of the Euganean Hills, where during the two years of the pandemic, a former computer scientist planted over 50,000 bulbs with his family, digging every single hole to sow them. In the huge lawn of the park of Villa Pisani Bolognesi Scalabrin, in the Veneto municipality of Vescovana, the flowering of over 200,000 tulips of different species and colours returns on the occasion of the seventh edition of "Giardinity Primavera - I Bulbi di Evelina Pisani", from March 19 to April 18 from 9 to 19. The project is a dedication desired by the current owner to Countess Evelina van Millingen Pisani, genius loci of the historic sixteenth-century villa and author, in the nineteenth century, of the creation of the garden and the immense park designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield, the famous architect of royal gardens and of English nobles. Cunizza, Marchesa d’Este, Cardinal Francesco Pisani, Countess Evelina van Millingen are the protagonists of the history of Villa Pisani, from an ancient medieval court to a sumptuous Renaissance palace, up to the refined nineteenth-century cultural salon.
