Discover the famous Valentino Red in Rome!

The famous Valentino Red is the color that embodies the charme of the  Valentino maison: this is how it was born and how it became the fil rouge of the history of the brand.

Valentino red is a color that has entered the history of

fashion, a unique and regal shade, symbol of the Valentino Brand.

In Rome, red is the color of the emperors. Today, the last emperor elects it as a symbol of his reign of sumptuousness and beauty, it covers via Condotti and the streets of the whole world: the Couture House of Valentino Garavani.  Still today, Valentino red is an integral part of the collections created by Pierpaolo Piccioli. It becomes ethereal and impalpable in the fabrics of high fashion, recalling the iconographic heritage of ancient Latin art. In prêt-à-porter it becomes  more dynamic, but without  departing from the original shade. Valentino red floods the catwalk with its overwhelming fluidity, remaining one of the most elegant and sophisticated colors of all time.

Valentino always had a famous following. Film stars such as and VIP Socialites such as Jackie Kennedy. His client list included the Begum Aga Khan, Queen Paola of Belgium and movie stars Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn. Shortly after, Mr Garavani's remarkable collections began attracting international attention – America's first lady of fashion Jacqueline Kennedy was one of his first famous clients, launching the Italian to the world stage when she wore Valentino for her wedding to Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis in 1968.
